Carry on storage must contain essential supplies such as food, water, first aid, and tools needed for survival. Unfortunately family photos nor jewelry will count as essential supplies and should not be treated as such when high carry weight is crucial and can mean the difference between moving faster and with ease to being weighed down and spending more energy.
